Awards We think it is really important to celebrate achievement at Burley St Matthias.

WEEKLY AWARDS

Every week, two pupils from each class are chosen to receive special awards in assembly.  We also have class awards for attendance and lining up.

HALF TERM AWARDS

Headteacher Award
At the end of each half term, two children from each class are chosen to receive the Headteacher’s Award.  The Headteacher’s Award is for children who have really impressed the teachers and Ms Cameron over the whole half term.

Attendance and Punctuality
There are awards for the classes that have had the best attendance, punctuality and who have been the best at lining up over the half-term.

Bowling Award
Each half-term in Key Stage 2, two children from each class get to go bowling with Mrs Parker (Learning Mentor).  One child is chosen because they always make the right choices and one child is chosen because they are beginning to make the right choices.
